Our Team

Paul qualified from Cambridge University in 1990 and after spending a few years in practice in the Midlands moved back to his home county where he has since worked in 100% equine practice. His aim has always been to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment without spending money unnecessarily which, in the current economic climate, would appear to be more important than ever. His main areas of interest are lameness and performance problems along with pre-purchase examinations and advice. Having competed at eventing for many years upto advanced level and Internationally, he feels his competition experience helps to give extra insight into the problems encountered by competition horses and their riders in all disciplines. He is also an FEI official veterinarian for eventing and in that role has officiated at FEI one and three day events nationwide.

Outside work Paul has teamchased at top level and hunted for over 20 years, Point-to-Pointed and since retiring from eventing, played polo here in Cheshire and at other clubs nationwide. He is also a keen skier with the motto “time on the turn is time wasted”!
